They are picked, dried and soaked in water for days to produce the base water for this innovative brew. The result is a slightly sour, malty beast with a sweet edge that leads onto a dry finish. Fantome is a small, farmhouse brewery that specialises in the saison style, many brewed with highly experimental ingredients such as dandelions and mushrooms. Most of fantome's output is exported to the US and it has developed a cult following in the beer world due to their astonishingly good beers.
