It happened again. For the first time since 2015 we have a geuze that ‘doesjelt’, a local dialect for being sleepy. Where this beer should have become a Golden Blend 375ml, it did not referment in the bottle … and we cannot explain it than just saying “it’s nature and the proof of the fact that we cannot 100% control this beautiful beerstyle we make. Nor do we want to control everything”.

Founded in 1887, 3 Fonteinen originally specialised in the blending of Lambic acquired from other breweries to produce outstanding Gueuze and Kriek beer. In 1998, they expanded and began brewing their own, however they still use beer from breweries such as Boon and Girardin to this day, making their output a true representation of the Lambic culture.
