The base for the Lou Pepe beers is 2 year old Lambic that has been aged in Bordeaux barrels. Fresh raspberries are then soaked in wine barrels before being added with a sweet liqueur, made with beer and saccharines, which causes refermentation in the bottle. Lou Pepe Framboise is beautifully balanced with sweetness, sourness, acidity and tartness all co-existing in masterful harmony.
