This light and crisp Lager is not brewed with smoked malt like the other Schlenkerla beers, however due to how close it is to the smoking process, there is a lovely subtle hint of smoke that gives it a unique edge.

Brauerei Heller is situated in Bamberg, Germany and is known for producing a range of smoked beer that is traditional to the area. The unmistakeable flavour is achieved by smoking the malt before the mashing process.
