After being brewed and beginning its life as a Mexican Style Lager, F.A.I.L. was transferred into French oak puncheon barrels onto the local yeast and bacteria that our two year old spontaneous beer had left behind. It rested there, patiently waiting for sunshine, for nearly a year before being blended and naturally conditioned in bottle for an additional two months. It presents a light tartness, a modest Brettanomyces and oak influence, and a grain character representative of its origins, with the will to refresh and party.

Located on the Oregon Coast, de Garde Brewing is dedicated to unique offerings. Our craft draws on historic traditions and local experimentation.
