Based on an old Danish dessert recipe, this beer is odd and intriguing. All the key ingredients have been used to recreate the dish with a sweet, creamy base leading to a slightly tart edge and undertones of almonds and cinnamon.

Founded in 2006 by former school teacher, Mikkel Borg Bjergsø, Mikkeller has in the last 8 years, shaken the beer world to it's core. Mikkel is a 'gypsy' brewer who, instead of owning his own brewing kit, travels the world collaborating with other breweries. This approach has allowed him to brew over 600 different beers, many being made with highly ambitious and experimental characters, and has led to him being regarded as one of the world's finest beer makers.
