Cultures Of Coventry is a collaborative project between Twisted Barrel, Mashionistas, Gonzo & Coventry University.
Our aim is to explore the wild yeast & bacteria present in Coventry & the impact of such cultures on the flavour of aged beer.
The project was fully funded by Coventry University as part of Coventry City Of Culture.
Eclipse is an almond milk & maple syrup Stout, matured in Muscadet wine barrels for 16 months.

Twisted Barrel Ale launched in 2013, describing themselves as the world's first 'pico' brewery. After a successful first year, they have now upscaled to a 6 BBL brewery plant with onsite tap room in a newly launched independent creative space in Coventry.
