This 100% Riesling comes from two vineyards called Wechselberg and Gaisberg where the vines grow on cool primary rock soils and ripen later.
80% of this wine is fermented with native yeasts in a 20/80 mix of stainless steel and used oak. Maceration takes place over 24 hours. The wine is then aged for 7 months in a 50/50 mix of stainless steel and used oak barrels.
Rich and deep aromas provide a beautiful complexity and flavour to this wine that is typical for Riesling. Its floral and aromatic nose is inviting and fresh with a touch of minerality, giving this medium-bodied wine a bright finish with a clean burst of acidity.
